The wife and I will be going on the road for the next couple of weekends, and I am looking for some people to write a guest post or two so we don’t have another dead weekend at financingyourfamily.com.  I’m looking for someone to write on personal finance, or family issues, and in return, I will write a review of your site on a date of your choosing.  As well as put a link on my blogroll if it isn’t there already.

Meanwhile, one of my personal goals for this site is to have it bring in enough money that my wife won’t have to work.  We are a long way off from that right now, but other online blog people, what kinds of site monetization works the best for you?  All the content on the site will still be free of course, but I may be experimenting with the ads around the page a bit, to see where the best levels of revenue come from.

What do you think?  More ads or different ads?  Donations?  Paid reviews?  I would rather set this site up with something the people who are reading it can stomach.
