Actually, I have a good use for expired credit cards. Whenever I travel overseas (like my yearly trip to Ukraine) I always put a bunch of expired credit cards in my wallet about about $20 (Or the equivalent in local currency) so if someone steals my wallet they'll think they've gotten all I have.

I always keep a throwaway wallet for traveling and all of my old canceled/expired cards (which is all of them) are kept in that wallet.
