For Newcomers
Welcome to Financing Your Family. If you are here then you are probably wondering what exactly sets this blog apart from the numerous other personal finance blogs on the internet.
First- The fact that I work for a Credit Union that prides itself on increasing employees’ knowledge means that I can provide you with the most up-to-date banking information possible. It’s my job to know, and I learn better by writing it down, so by participating in this learning process with me, you and I both benefit.
Second- I have a degree in Psychology, and a solid understanding of ways that you can start to improve your family life today. As I post or get questions about family issues, my goal is always to deepen your relationship with your loved ones.
Third- If you are having a financial crisis or a budgetting crisis, I may be able to help you see additional options that are available to you. I’ve helped several friends and relatives find money in budgets they thought were stretched to the breaking point. If you are interested, you can email me at mr.mark.andersen (at) gmail (dot) com. I’ll ask you some questions to get a broad picture of your situation, and evaluate it in-depth including ways that you could be saving money.
Fourth- When you comment, I will go to your url (if you have one) and will usually respond unless the comment is a generic “nice post” or something similar. I want you to know that this blog will be focused on what you want to read just as much as what I want to write.
Finally- I would like to thank you for giving me a bit of your valuable time, hopefully I can help you save some of your valuable money.
